May 2025 will mark ten years that the Marialla V. Magloire Foundation (MVM) has provided educational scholarships to high school seniors who not only excel academically but also embody compassion, service, and a deep appreciation for the humanities, arts, and sciences. As we celebrate this milestone, we reflect on the bright minds who have benefited from MVM’s support—students who have gone on to shape their futures while uplifting others along the way.
MVM was founded in honor of Marialla V. Magloire, a woman whose life was defined by both intellect and heart. She believed education was more than the pursuit of knowledge; it was a tool for shaping a better world. Her passion for the music, art, and various fields of science combined with her unwavering commitment to kindness and service, inspired the foundation’s mission and a special "Arts and Sciences Scholarship" that recognizes students who excel not only in academics but in their ability to bring empathy and positive change to their communities.
This year, applications remain open for graduating seniors from Leon High School and the greater Tallahassee area. MVM is committed to supporting the next generation of students who will shape our future and honor Marialla’s vision of a world enriched by both intellect and compassion.
